This quirky little camera has a 5 Megapixel sensor and is able to capture 1080p HD video at (up to) 60 fps. It measures at only 20 x 25 x 10mm and comes with a 15mm cable which connects directly to the Raspberry Pi. The camera module costs only £17 ($25) and will be available in about a month (there is currently no set date for release.)

Along with the camera, Raspberry Pi also recently announced the release of "Model A" - a cheaper version of the original "Model B" board. It's priced at £17 (excluding tax/shipping charges) and is smaller and lighter than the original as it has only 1 USB port, no Ethernet and less RAM. (Due to this, it also consumes less power.)
